Engineering Overview
I have been involved in many Engineering related projects for the past 7 years. I began my Engineering journey in 2016 taking Mechanical Engineering and Computer Engineering classes in my Highschool. Over my four year Highschool career I completed in total eight years of engineering classes, four years of Mechanical Engineering and four years of Computer and Software Engineering. I have helped raise money for my school through sponsorships from major companies in the USA including State Farm, and Nordson Corporation. Some of the projects I was an important role in were:
CDAT Truck - A Kids Toy Car upgraded with 2 1000w electric motors, which was able to reach speeds up to 35 Km/H
Makerspace Internship - Helped manage two 250m2 shops with a CNC Router; Laser Engraver; Industrial Sized Printers for Posters, Signs etc.; +20 3D Printers; Table Saws; Band Saws; Miter Saws; Mill and Lathe.
White Oak Elementary - Repaired +15 3D Printers and created and implemented a self-sustaining system of client-based system repair on the machines being run in the area, and trained each teacher on how to perform the repairs unassisted.
Robotics (Electrical Lead) - Calculated forces to determine appropriate motor and gear ratio to be used. Calculated current draw on the robot to set current limits and prevent overcurrent shutoff. Installed all electronic components and safely wired them.
Apple //e - Diagnosed and repaired a vintage Apple //e which had not been functional since the early 1990s.
Drone - Created and programmed a drone using an Arduino Uno R3, Brushless motors and Motor controllers.
Smart Mirror - Created a "Smart" mirror that displays important information like the weather, the date, personal google calendar, spotify, and the News from various sources.
